What is MoneyBack and why should I join?

Launched in 2007, MoneyBack is a leading multi-partner loyalty programme created by AS Watson to recognise and say thank you to our customers who shop with us at near 500 locations in Hong Kong and Macau. MoneyBack provides rebates to members in the form of MoneyBack points. Presenting and scanning the member QR Code on MoneyBack App, you can earn points every time you shop, and earn extra points in attractive offers across our stores. Your points can then be exchanged for cash coupons, selected products and merchant coupons giving your stuff for free!

Where can I earn MoneyBack Points?
You can earn MoneyBack Points every time you shop* at the below retail outlets by scanning your member QR code in the app, or at merchant partner eShops through MoneyBack App. MoneyBack Points can also be converted from Asia Miles, Esso Smiles and Citi Points.

ii. Fortress, 3HK, 3SUPREME, Hutchgo: HK$10 spending = 1 Point;

How can I join?
You can apply to become a member of MoneyBack through MoneyBack Mobile App. After registration, a designated membership number will be assigned to you after successful registration, and you can enjoy membership offers and make purchase by using MoneyBack Mobile App instantly.
How to become MoneyBack VIP member?
You can upgrade to VIP once you meet the required spending at designated merchants automatically the next day:
PARKnSHOP: $18,000 or more
Watsons: $8,000 or more
Fortress: $20,000 or more

Do I need to activate my MoneyBack membership?
If you have registered through the MoneyBack App, once you have completed the verification process, you will receive a confirmation message and will be able to start using the virtual member card to enjoy member offers.
What can I do if I forgot to show and scan my Member QR code when I make a purchase, can I claim back the corresponding MoneyBack points?
Any point claim request after sales transaction is not possible. If you forgot to present your Member QR code on the MoneyBack App, you can also provide your registered mobile number at checkout to accumulate points for the transaction. However, MoneyBack member QR code must be presented for point redemption.
Will my MoneyBack Points expire? Where can I check my point expiry details?
Your MoneyBack points are valid for 2 years after issue and the earliest point expiry will be shown on “My Profile” section of MoneyBack App. Points transferred from other accounts will retain their original expiry date.
How long does it take for the points to reflect in my account?
Points will be added and reflected within your app within 5 days after date of purchase or 2 days after delivery.
What happens to my points if my order or product is cancelled or refunded?
If your order or product is cancelled or refunded, the points awarded for that order or product will also be deducted from your MoneyBack account when the cancel or refund is made.
How can I update my profile?
Your profile can be updated through the MoneyBack App. If you are using the MoneyBack mobile app, please note that your email and mobile number is also linked to your login. For further assistance, please contact our MoneyBack Customer Hotline at 852 2187 2277 (Hong Kong) / 853 2851 9274 (Macau) .
Can I still use my physical MoneyBack Card?
The MoneyBack Card has been officially discontinued as of March 2023, and no longer usable starting from March 1st 2023. After the discontinuation of the MoneyBack Card, existing members only need to merge their membership card into the MoneyBack App to continue using the points stored on the card.
What functionalities are in the MoneyBack App?
• Member QR code: Instead of having to carry a physical card to earn / use points, login to the App to access the virtual membership card. Simply scan the Memeber QR code at the cashier to earn and burn points.
• Personalized Promotions: The MoneyBack App can view and access your favourite offers anytime, anywhere. Just add them to "Wallet" and show their QR code to redeem.
• Share Offers: Share offers with your friends directly from the App so they can enjoy it too or let them know about it through social media platforms.
• Share Points: Now there’s flexibility on points usage and you can not only share with family members but also with your friends. ‘Share point’ function allows you to give your points to any other MoneyBack App members and when the points combine, there’s more flexibility on how to use the points.
• Centralized Account Management: Got a ParknShop, Watsons and Fortress iClub card? You can manage all your cards and points together by linking them to the App. You can still continue to use those cards to earn Points.

I am already a MoneyBack member, why can’t I use my existing account to login?
Your MoneyBack App account helps you centralize all your MoneyBack cards (for example, ParknShop MoneyBack card, Watsons MoneyBack Card and Fortress iClub card). Once you have created a MoneyBack App account, you can add your existing MoneyBack card(s) into your profile and manage them all virtually in one App. You can also sign in to your MoneyBack App account using your email or mobile number, so you no longer need to remember multiple membership numbers and to carry the physical cards.
Can I link any cards to my MoneyBack App account?
The cards you link must be registered under either the same email or mobile number, and with the same surname as your MoneyBack App account. A one-time verification will be required to complete the process. Please note that each card can only be linked to one mobile app account and the process is irreversible.
What happens to my points and transaction history after I link my cards?
All your points and transaction history will be brought over to your mobile account. Point expiry will remain unchanged.
I did not provide my mobile number or email address before. Can I still link my cards to the account?
If for any reasons your mobile number or email address is not matching with the cards you will like to link, you can contact MoneyBack Customer Hotline at 852 2187 2277 (Hong Kong) / 853 2851 9274 (Macau) for assistance.
When can I link my membership cards?
You can link your cards anytime in “Link card” section on your MoneyBack App.
I have been sharing MoneyBack card with my spouse, but he/she has already added the card to their mobile App account. Can I still add it to my account?
Each MoneyBack card* can only be linked to one mobile App account. You are encouraged to sign up for a new account so that you can receive your own set of personalized promotions and communications and you can still share points and offers with your family and friends through the App.
*Based on membership number on card. Primary cards and mini cards with the same MoneyBack number will be considered same card.

Can I combine MoneyBack App accounts together?
MoneyBack App accounts cannot be merged. However, you can transfer points from one account to another.
Can I share my MoneyBack account with others?
Sharing of MoneyBack account is not encouraged. At MoneyBack, we believe every member is unique and we will tailor communication and offer to meet each member’s needs. However, you can share offer and points with your friends and family who are also using MoneyBack.
During registration, my MoneyBack App closed unexpectedly and I did not complete the registration process. What should I do?
When you create your account, you should receive a confirmation message. If you have not received this confirmation, you may try to register again.
I am an existing MoneyBack member, do I need to fill in my personal information again after signing up for the new account?
If you have provided your profile details to us previously, the information will be carried forward to your new MoneyBack App account when you link your card. However, we encourage you to double check your profile to make sure that it is up-to-date so that we can send you relevant communication and offers.
I see some fields under ‘My Profile’ but it is not updated. Why is this?
The profile you see may have been brought over from your existing memberships. We encourage you to cross-check your profile after linking cards to your account. We also recommend you to regularly review and update your profile to make sure you can receive relevant and personalized offers.
I forgot my MoneyBack App password and tried to reset it using the “Forgot Password” function on Login page. However, I did not receive any email or instructions. Are there other ways to reset it?
You can change the verification method on the “Forget Password” page to reset password using SMS. Alternatively, you can also contact MoneyBack Customer Hotline at 852 2187 2277 (Hong Kong) / 853 2851 9274 (Macau) for assistance
How can I update my personal information?
You can update your personal information in the MoneyBack App. Click the profile picture in top left hand corner and go into "My Profile", select "Setting" > "Personal Information", then fill in or edit the information you would like to change.
How can I deactivate my MoneyBack account? Can I get back my account if it has been deactivated?
Please call MoneyBack Customer Hotline at 852 2187 2277 (Hong Kong) / 853 2851 9274 (Macau) for assistance. Please note that the deactivation process is irreversible.
Do I need to be a MoneyBack member to use the App?
MoneyBack App is open to the public. Everyone can download and use it on their smart devices to view general member promotions and benefits. However, by signing up as a member, you will also receive personalized offers and notifications on latest offers from MoneyBack.
Can I log into MoneyBack App on multiple devices at the same time?
No. You can only log in one device at a time.
What device does MoneyBack App support?
MoneyBack App supports devices with iOS 17.0 or above / Android 7.0 and up.
Why do I receive MoneyBack App push notifications? Can I switch it off?
There are 2 ways to switch off App push notifications:
(i) Switching off App notification on your own device: You will no longer receive App push notifications. However, promotion materials from other channels will not be affected, i.e. the member can still receive materials by SMS, Email and Post.
(ii) Updating promotion preferences in the member profile: You will no longer receive promotion materials from all channels. The member has to view the offers in App manually. By selecting method (ii), you will no longer receive any promotion notifications.
(i) Switching off App notification on your own device: You will no longer receive App push notifications. However, promotion materials from other channels will not be affected, i.e. the member can still receive materials by SMS, Email and Post.

Where can I find my MoneyBack Member QR Code?
You can click the coin icon in the navigation bar at the bottom to access your member QR code. Or you can enable the 'Autopop-up od QR code when login' option in the 'Settings'. The next time you launch the MoneyBack App, it will automatically display.
I want to invite my friends to download MoneyBack App, what should I do?
You can invite your friends via instant messengers and social media network Apps installed on your device using the “Invite Friends” function.
What should I do if I lose my mobile device, which had MoneyBack App installed?
If you have lost your mobile device and have been logged in, we recommend you to call CS or change your password in MoneyBack App immediately to change the password to avoid misuse of the membership account.
Will I receive notifications about my point transactions, e.g. point transfer, conversion, request?
After the transactions have been completed, a push notification will be sent or you can also read the corresponding message in MoneyBack app Inbox. Alternatively, you can view your point transaction history in “Transaction History” section in "Quick Tools".
I have sent a point request message to my friends, what will happen next? Will I get notifications about their acceptance or rejection?
After submitting a point request, a notification will be sent to the requestee and the details can be viewed in notification inbox. The requestee can accept, ignore or propose another transfer amount. Upon confirmation, you will receive a notification informing you about the request result.
I sent some points to my friend but they didn’t receive any notification about it. What should I do?
Point transfer will normally be reflected within a few minutes. If the receiver/requestee did not receive any notifications, please make sure both of your devices are connected to a valid mobile or Wi-Fi network and the push notification for MoneyBack app is enabled.
Alternatively, you can view your point transaction history in the "Transaction History" section or check your notification inbox for details.

If I accidentally transfer points to the wrong member account, what should I do?
If you authorize us to transfer your points to another member account, the instruction will be irreversible once confirmed. Please be sure to carefully check the member account you are transferring the points to before the point transfer confirmation, to avoid accidentally transferring the points to the wrong member account.
I see an offer that I want to redeem/use. What do I need to do?
Most of the offers you see on the app can be enjoyed immediately. By clicking the "Grab Now" button on the offer card on the homepage or offer detail page, you can save the offer to "Wallet." Open the eCoupon in "Wallet," follow the instructions to activate the promo code, and redeem and enjoy the offer in-store or at the eShop.
Why do I need to save the offers into “Wallet”?
Being a MoneyBack member means you are entitled to various types of member benefits, including general and limited offers. By clicking the "Grab Now" button, general offers will be saved to "Wallet" automatically. Limited offers are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you grab the offer successfully, it will also be saved to "Wallet." Both types of offers need to be activated in "Wallet" before redeeming them in-store or at the eShop.
What are the differences between the offers that I see in “Homepage”/Brand page and “My Wallet”?
“Homepage”/Brand page allows you to browse through all member offers which are still within the validity period, including both general offers and limited offers. Please note that grabbing and activating are required before you can redeem them.

I saw an offer before but I can’t find it anymore?
If the offer was found in "Homepage” or brand page and it is no longer there, the offer may have already expired.
I activated an offer on the MoneyBack app. Does it mean that I can only enjoy it using the app?
For product redemption offers, you will need to scan a QR code to redeem the product in store. You will the offer details inside the app.
Can I redeem the MoneyBack offers on eShops?
MoneyBack App provides members with discounts both online and offline. Offers marked with the "eShop" tag can be redeemed in the eShop.
Why do my friends and I receive different offers?
At MoneyBack, we want to make it all about each and every one of our members. Our members are entitled to a lot of different offers every day, including electronics, groceries, beauty, health products, etc. With all this information and these offers, it means that you can easily miss out or overlook the ones that may be relevant to you. So we go through all our offers and handpick the ones which we think you will be interested in.
Not receiving the right offers? Help us by filling in more details under your profile so that we can identify the right products and offers for you. If you are receiving offers that you think your friends may also be interested in, you can share them with your friends if they are MoneyBack app users.

How can I share an offer to friends?
You can share the offer details via SMS, email, WhatsApp, and other installed social applications. Simply click the "Share" button on the top right corner of the offer thumbnail to select the applications through which you would like to share.
What kinds of personal data will be collected and how will they be used?
At times, you will be asked to provide personal data including, but not limited to, name, gender, age, phone number, email address, home address, interests, etc.

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of individuals with respect to personal data.
